Title: Packing and Covering on the Sphere

Abstract: We will survey the classical results on packing and covering on the Euclidean sphere in Rn. We will focus on establishing the almost optimal (asymptotic) upper bound on covering the sphere with smaller balls that is due to Rogers with recent improvements by Dumer.
